A bill that would have allowed legal gambling on Texas Hold ‘Em has unfortunately been denied in it’s process of moving through the political ranks in becoming law. I had previously written about this about two months ago when the bill was first introduced.

We can attribute this denial of bill-into-law for poker players in Texas, due to it being at the bottom of the so called “to-do” list of our reps in the legislature. Can’t really blame them though, poker’s pretty meaningless in comparison to some other issues. I still would have loved to seen gambling on Texas’s favorite card game at selected places, become legal.
