Astros’ yearly street festival will kick off opening day
March 29th, 2007Our team announced today that opening day festivities will be held on this coming Monday, April 2nd at Minute Maid park. The game to be played that night to start the season will be against the Pittsburgh Pirates, and I’ve got a feeling it will be a well-played game with our boys securing a win in the end. Unfortunately, if you don’t already have tickets, opening day for the Astros is sold out.
The gates at Minute Maid park downtown will open at 3 in the afternoon, while pregame ceremonies get started at 5:30. Look below for the day full schedule of Houston baseball celebration…
