This kind of news really puts a positive spin on what would otherwise be an aggravating story. A couple scumbags broke into a NW area man’s house last night around 8, and these idiots were armed. What the robbers didn’t know though, was that this homeowner was also packing heat. Upon confrontation, shots were exchanged and one of the criminals was hit and then died. To the man who stood up for what was his - I say good on you sir!

To everyone who is opposed to having guns in the home, take note of this article. This man who fought back had an innocent family to protect, and by having the proper means to defend them, he was able to maintain their safety. It’s scary to think about what would have happened if these law-abiding locals were subject to the violence of these predators who unlawfully broke into a home attempting to commit armed burglary. Luckily, by exercising their right to bear arms, they were not victims of a terrible crime.

This has been a more editorial piece than I usually write, however I feel strongly about this and urge everyone to re-evaluate their stance on responsible gun ownership in the home, if you currently oppose it.
