Famous stoner-comic Tommy Chong will be in town on February 24th for a book signing to promote his latest pub “The I Chong: Meditations from the Joint.” In it, Chong revisits many of his childhood memories and tales from comedic shows over the years. Don’t worry, writings of his time done in prison for political indictment are in there as well.
The event’s going to be autograph-only, so there won’t be much public speaking from the author, but that’s for the best. Borders wants to ensure everyone who comes can have a chance to meet Tommy and check out the book. From what I’ve heard “Meditations from the Joint” has been received fairly well by critics and fans alike, so let me know what y’all think of it, should you happen to score a copy.
When: Saturday, Feb. 24 at 2 p.m.
Where: Borders — Houston (Kirby)
3025 Kirby Drive
Houston, TX 77098
713-524-0200
p.s. - if you’ll be attending for media-related purposes, here’s some contact info you need: Cullen Graff at (713) 529-1365 or cgraff1@bordersgroupinc.com
