Anna Nicole Smith’s decomposing body pushes urgent court hearings along
February 21st, 2007
What was already an urgent situation of attempting to decide what to do with and where to bury former Playbody model Anna Nicole Smith’s body has becoming increasingly critical due to her body decomposing more rapidly that had been expected. I’m beginning to feel even more sympathetic for Anna with all these latest developments and hold-ups. I’m almost ready to expect another guy she “used to date” to come forward and claim to be the 4th potential father of her newborn daughter Danielynn Hope. Three ring circus anyone?
In any case, the Broward County medical examiner issued the warning on Tuesday of how little time is left for a public viewing and proper burial. This was happening while Smith’s boyfriend Howard K. Stern and mother battled it out in court. So many issues regarding what to do with Anna Nicole’s money, daughter, etc. are in the air, that whole debacle is beginning to become even more of a mess, of a mess, of a mess than was anticipated early on.
Here’s essentially what it boils down to…
Stern wants Anna’s body buried in Nassau, Bahamas; and custody over the daughter. Anna’s mother wants the opposite, and says that Smith’s son was buried illegally in the Bahamas.
I mean, you have to kind of feel depressed about everyone’s situation in this. Whether or not we like these people, they all had close ties to Anna Nicole and are fiercly trying to defend what part of her legacy they feel they need to protect (or are entitled to, however you see it).
How would you feel as Stern, the mother, or daughter (years later)?
If I can go out on a limb here, I feel a discovery will be made that there has been some illegal activity or foul play going on up to the time of death and either the money will go entirely to Stern, or to DanielLynn Hope (most likely). There has been recent speculation that Anna was gearing up to change her will, before she died. If true, that’s not good news for Stern.
