Following on the heels of my earlier commentary regarding the HPD officers who racked up five and six digit overtime figures for 06, one such officer has been discovered accepting cash bribes during traffic stops. I know there are good boys in blue out there, and I highly respect them, but boy it’s disappointing and aggravating to learn of things like this. Your thoughts? Toxicology reports will hopefully determine what caused/attributed to a Texas City woman’s death last week. Her body was found under the bed of a Telephone Rd. motel. The woman who ran her cheating husband over in a Houston parking lot (already convicted of murder) has been ordered to pay the man’s family 3.75 million dollars.
