Well, apparently, I witnessed A&M beat UT in college football this past week. I’m not quite sure if I’ve fallen into some twisted, alternate, sub-reality, but in the meantime while I, and the rest of Texas attempt to figure out just what happened at that game, you can play Teasip Bingo :-p Every time you overhear an excuse as to the victory, cross it off your play card, haha.

In the recent article People of Texas, people of faith, Roy Spence Jr.’s new photobook The Amazing Faith of Texas: Common Ground on Higher Ground was reviewed. This book explores the various religious experiences throughout our great state of Texas. Regardless of whether you’re religious, spiritual, agnostic, etc., it’s still an interesting read.
The book features some Houstonians you may be familiar with, ranging from mayor Bill White to more everyday folks like you and me. The publication sparked the mayor to create a “interfaith dinners” made up of groups of 8 to 10 people who’ll have dinner on Tuesday, January 30, 2007 to talk about, debate upon, and basically share their faith experiences. To participate, you can visit their official website - Amazing Faiths Houston.
