Houston Chronicle, our city’s most read and widely distributed newspaper, suffered a power-outage lasting into today due to fires downtown. After their servers went down (Chronicle IT has them located in the main building(?) - bad management) news was delivered on their site via a temporary blog setup and the Chronicle came under some heavy (and admittedly, humorous) criticism.
