Well, no playoffs, World Series, or intense city-wide excitement for Houston this year. I was really pulling for our guys to make it, but alas, we lost yesterday and St. Louis won.

I find it interesting and re-assuring how most fans, including myself, refer to a team as “we”. Just goes to show the comradery that can be found via a group’s dedication to something as simple and enthralling as a professional baseball organization’s daily happenings.

What do you think - will “we” come back stronger next year? Is a World Series really within the scope for the upcoming seasons?

I feel that the Astros have the talent necessary to go all the way, but there need to be some serious improvements within management. Right now we’re good, but good isn’t great.
